This is a layout I've done as an illustration for the class I'm giving this weekend for Scrappersaurus.
The first class is about distressing chipboard, and what you can do with it. I painted the tag blue, covered it with crackle medium, then inked it. I covered the title with paper, inked the edges, then inked on top of it to create definition.
Part II of the class was how to include the chipboard in a layout, and distressing. Lots of fun there. I distressed the edges of the papers with scissors and used the Ranger Ink Tool to distress the edges, and randomly into the papers. I also used Glimmer mist to add a bit of sparkle. You knew I couldn't do the totally distressed look. LOL The flowers were cut on the Cricut and Distressed as well. I used antique lace that a friend gave me.
There will be more ribbons on the tag, I just have to turn it in today. I'm on a deadline and am out of matching ones. I'll have to pick them up at the scrapbook store. It's not crooked IRL. I had to hurry and get a pic before I turned it in, and it's raining. This was the best I could get. Ugh. I'm so tired of rain!
