I think you did great on a small budget! When you get a little more money, think "UP". You don't have a lot of space to spread out, but you do have some nice wall space that would nicely accomodate a piece of pegboard or an organization shelf. Your idea of scrapping on the coffee table with cushions is great - I'd get a lot more done because I'd be there forever (I wouldn't be able to get up!)
It looks comfy! I have that same desk! I bought it and didn't know where to put it so it's still sitting in my garage. But, you gave me an idea about a bill paying station. I'll just have to figure out where to put it now.... THANKS FOR SHARING!
I think you have done an awesome job and it looks beautiful too! If I tried scrapbooking on the coffee table with pillows I'd never be able to get up but your young and it works for you and that is what counts. Enjoy your room.
This is the full view of my scraproom. The blue boxes have all my stickers, brads, letters, chalks, stamps and inks, and 2 big drawers full of paper. The coffee table is where I scrap. The desk is there for my wifely duties, bill paying, lesson planning (I homeschool) and all that stuff goes on. The scrappin happens on the coffee tables and floor pillows. That is more comfortable to me than sitting in a chair is. I have my pictures all in the shoe holder behind the Massage chair. I am organizing them by date, event, or theme. It seems to be working out pretty well. Tell me what you think...scrap room on a $50 budget
