Page 3 in my pregnancy SB. The picture is of the three pregnancy tests (spaced about 3 days apart each) that confirmed the news.

This is the page from Daddy's notebook where he made a note of the exact time we first learned you were on your way. Pregnancy tests are most effective in the morning, but I was too eager to find out. I couldn't sleep! So we tested - the longest three minutes of my life! - and there it was: the little pink line that said you were already growing inside me.
We didn't tell anyone else for a little while, but after a second and then a third test came up positive, we decided to share the news. Mommy's family were in Berlin visiting us, so we told them in person, and called Grandpa Chuck to tell him, too, ten days after we learned for ourselves.
On the eleventh day, July 28, we went to the doctor. Not only did she confirm the pregnancy, she did an ultrasound. And there you were! No bigger than a grain of rice, with a tiny blinking speck where your heart was already beating. Seeing you for the first time was the best anniversary present we ever could have asked for. Eight months to go, and we were already in love.
