I used the inside of my foam tape (the circle) to punch the holes to make the moon. I lightly scraped a design and poked holes at all the points for the stars. I lightly scratched and poked holes for the phrase at the bottom. I then used metallic thread for the outside of the moon, stars and the wording. I used the spiced marmalade crackle paint on the moon so it is all nice and crackly. I used a pearl white metallic paint by Folk Art for the inside of the two sides, the two comets and the stars. Then I went over top of them with crackle accents and they turned that awesome blue color!!!!! The outside is distressed with that same white pearl paint.
