What a sweet thing to say about your DH and having 5 children! Even if you feel it's jumbled, it all has meaning and that is what makes it so wonderful!
This was for the what your kids think about Dad Challenge. I kinda let the kids do this one for me...so it is a little jumbled to say the least! LOL.
It is supposed to be a "pocket" with all of the things about Dad spilling out of it. All of these things represent some of the crazy answers that I got to the questions that I had to ask them. Basically, they all said that dad is REALLY good at, loves to do and will one day become famous for BAR~B~Q'ing...except 3 yr dd who says he will one day become famous for "having lots of coins" hence all the coins everywhere!
There is the king of hearts to represent that he says that he loves them all, the tools because apparantly he is always at work when they are gone, and he fixes things with them...the basketball is for the fact that he is their B-Ball coach...Texas Roadhouse represents that his favorite food is UNANIMOUSLY steak, and I am still gathering elements to add to it, since it already looks jumbled, why not add more! LOL.
I have always said that I would NOT have 5 kids if he were a bad dad, I would have stopped at 2... If he were any other kind of dad at all...but he is not. He is a wonderfully loving, involved, fun, funny Dad. It truly did my heart good to find out that all of my kids think so, too.
Oh...and I did use a paperkins doll on this to represent Dad...it was for the mini challenge ont he no shopping thread to use one of the OLDESThings in your personal stash...well...I think paperkins is WAY old! lol I probably bought them somewhere around 99~2000 ish? LOL...crazy that I still have them...like 4 still! I let DD's have the last ones for paper dolls...lol
