Over the past few years, I have been obssessed with two things: shopping in dollar stores, and buying scrapbook supplies. I buy my scrapbook supplies faster than you can say your name. Well many of the challenges on this web site have got me to think outside the box. Vivian's "June No Shopping Challenge" has encouraged me to use my supplies without buying supplies.

While going through my stash I found in one of my scrapbook - a - page - a - day desktop calendars, some golf themed papers. This inspired me to scrapbook a photo of me meeting Canadian Pro Golfer Mike Weir. The original photo was taken from a distance, so I cropped it and multiplied it to six photos on one 4 x 6. I used golf themed paper from the desktop calendar to create the lettering. I used chipboard letters from Dollarama to also create the lettering. White & black card stock were used to outline the letters and make them stand out from the background. (I'm trying to "Go green!".) Some golf paper from the desktop calendar was used to frame and matte the photo. The set of golf clubs is a die cut from a book about scrapbooking my Aunt gave me at Christmas. The golf stickers in the bottom left hand corner came from the dollar store.

Stay tuned for my next golf layout. Then that will put an end to my collection of golf themed scrapbook supplies.

By going through my stash, I am starting to say to myself "Holy Crap! I forgot that I had bought that."
