This LO was completely out of my comfort zone.. i like earthy colors, and when i had saw that my selected paper had a colorful bird i decided i might try dreaded bright colors!

it took all my discipline to NOT fill the entire page! lol.. negative space is pretty cool though.. i tried to keep neg space at the bottom right with the bird. so i made everything else pretty heavy on embellishments and colors and just did a few circle punchouts and button feathers to add a bit of interest to the lonely bird..

the circle paper under my photos is a scrap paper that had wrinkles, so i pleated it and made it look better!
the photos were edited with picasa and the center pic was matted on blue cardstock and pop up glue that i inked up with a foam brush (thats prob my fav ink technique)
the journaling at the top right reads "the time you enjoy wasting, is not time wasted." bartrand russel. the white star next to the quote is handmade and gen pen highlight
the title on my circle reads "me time= escape" the tags under the circle r held together with a brad so u can slide the tags over to read text beneath. the first tag reads, "Photography, Movies, walking, spanish culture, reading, new stuff, quality time with loved ones, RED, writing, eye makeup, creating, yummy homemade food, sunshine..." the other two have more randomness about me. i guess i can share that as well since u cant see in the pic, 2nd tag reads, "researching randomness, art, tanning, hair and nail salons, cooking, recycling, mainstream radio tunes, retail therapy, hot buble baths, scrapbooking, a cleaned house, laughing..." the last tag reads, "traveling, painting, pretty nails, board games, swimming, sleeping 8+ hours, smell of rain, lazy days, dancing when no one is watching, God, Hugs, playing dress up, kisses, Accessories."

i used blue accents in the buttons, flower on title, and blue fiber across my pics, all around the page for my monochromatic embellishments.

i also did doodled x's and hearts around the entire photo area, and faux stitching on circles near bird and on tags.
