GET DISTRESSED SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE

This is a photo of my youngest brother Kestler. In class they were learning about first holy communion. I first distressed the edges of the paper with brown ink. Then I used black puffy paint to outline some flourishes on the paper and simply added gems. I matted the photo with craft and coordinating green paper and distressed all the edges again. I added a short journal about heaven. Lastly I added "GROW" and off to the side his name. Oh and I added a small bow from American Crafts ribbon.
