I was feeling so sentimental on Labor Day thinking about sending my "baby" off to preschool. It's such a rite of passage, and I really wanted a large space to journal, so the crate paper was perfect to use the lines on for the title and journaling. I love the KI blue glitter loops too, and I needed to play with my new Oct. Afternoon alphas I'd just received from the store here! :)
The journaling reads. . ."Twas the night before preschool. . .and Erin Grace was laying in her bed and singing to herself with the joy of it all. Tomorrow, I will let you go off into the world of school, and I know you are ready. I wish I were ready. Don't get me wrong. . .I know you'll do great! Erin, you will leran so much this year. You talk about wanting to be a teacher when you grow up and helping me in my classroom. I could see you having the gift for teaching~ you are so sensitive to others. I'm just having a hard time letting you go into the world where I won't be able to control what you encounter. Erin, this night, and every night, I pray a shield around you by the Holy Spirit that your sensitive heart will remain unspoiled and you will continue to greet each day with joy, enthusiasm and a song from your heart. I love you! 9/7/09
