you could get 1/2 inch piece of wood that would run from tv to power outlet, cut a groove in the back big enough for the cord, with dado blade or router put the wood over the cord, nail to wall and paint the same color as wall. (this is what my husband said he did) this will cover the cord and not be very noticable.
I would go with desk, dressers, or cube system in front, not to hight, but enough to cover cords, then it looks like it is on top, but not, keep us posted!
You can ask him to do what I asked my husband to do: drill two small holes in the wall. Stick the cords into the wall and then out of the other hole right above/below the outlet...I HATE how those wires look in our bedroom!!!!
Yes Queen....get some swatches of fabric or a swatch of paint colour you have on your wall, take it to fabric store and get you a yard or two of fabric and cut the length of the cord plus 2 inches. Then sew a channel on each end and sew the seam lengthwise inside out. Pull a thin piece of elastic in each channel and tie or sew the ends of the elastic. Then pull it right side out and slide on the cord. Presto, hides the cord!!....Kim
Walmart sells cord covers - we have one for our wall-mounted TV. They are flat - I think they are made by Panasonic. They come in sections and they are paintable. Have the white cord moved over close to the black one and you can run them both thru the cord cover. We painted ours to match the wall and it is almost invisible! Good luck!
I have another idea. I'll send you a photo to show you a wooden board that we put up in my scrap room with metal pegs in it for hanging scrap stuff. You could hang a board like that in front of the wires under the TV and down to the outlet.
Hello, If you have a home depot, they sell a cord cover...Here is the info. You should be able to find this anywhere. Hope this helps. It is paintable also.

I think the TV is an "X-tra speical" gift. You're the only one who will most likely use the room. Who cares about the wires? Covers may look nice, if they blend well with the wall. Or you could place a table under it with some scrap stuff stored on it (or bins under it). The only other thing I can think of is to hang a small curtain rod under the TV and put a fabric curtain on the rod to hang over the wires, as though there's a window there.
Sharon, will anything - desk, bookcase, storage - be placed under the TV? One way to "hide" a cord is to run it through a piece of PVC pipe, but in an exposed space like this, I don't what to tell ya. Good luck!
Can anyone help with this? The white cord is the cable, which my husband says he can move, but the electric outlet has to stay where it is, hence the black cord. Can anyone give me any pointers on how to make custom-colored cord covers that will make this blend/disappear? Thanks so much!
