SHCG: You captured one of those some small moments in life of something that started out as a drag but turned into something beautiful. I am going back & forth about the leaves. to me they are just a little too green and distracting. Maybe a more traditional Hawaiian leaf would fit in better, or toning down the color. I don't know what software you are using but you can try "sliding" back the color of the leaves slightly so that they disolve (melt) into the background slightly. In photoshop it is called Opacity. The texture of the canvas would show slightly through the leaves.

SHCG: The photo is fantastic and I really like the font and color of the date on the photo. The overall color scheme is gorgeous. I really like the font of the journaling and what a great story. A beautiful way to capture a beautiful moment in your life. I do agree that if you could do something to accent the title with colors or fading, it would help it stand out a bit more.

SHCG: Beautiful photo, fantastic journaling with the contrast in tone from the first paragraph to the next, and cool font. The birds are cute, and I like the contrast of font colors with a white date in your photo. I like the title font, too, but it might be cool to do purples and blues in the title to mimic sunset colors. I'm also curious to see what a little bird perched atop the pole in your photo could do for further drawing our attention to the pic. Great P365 lo!

SHCG - Love this - what a beautiful photo. Wonderful descriptive journaling - terrific how you caught this gorgeous moment, then how good news later in the day made things even more awesome. Excellent use of negative space - the placement of everything really emphasizes the dramatic pic & the fab news. The colors & corner leaves look fantastic. TFS!

SHCG: Wow... that bg is perfect for the photo! I like how you put the date directly on the photo and how you have the two sets of leaves pointing inward creating a diagonal line. The only change I would make is to make the title more decorative... make it bigger, split into two lines and add some effects, maybe a shadow?? Fabulous LO Amanda!

SHCG: Beautiful sunrise for sure and such wonderful news. I do love everything on this page and I believe it is perfectly balanced the way it is; however, I think I would like to see a few more elements/digital effects. For example, adding a small black border around the whole page or maybe adding a couple more birds to sit atop your picture. All would be just for fun and just to challenge yourself to see what you can come up with. Again - the page is beautiful the way it is, but my love of adding "stuff" is coming through in this comment. :)
