Bravo -- this is perfection. I love the symbolism. I try to incorporate that into my pages when I can, but I've never done something this elaborate. The design for this is wonderful -- love the way you cut the middle of the pp out to tuck the photos in. Also love the bling in the center of the flower.
WOW...I was just thinking the jacks from the deck would have been appropriate to represent your son's too, but trip king's is a better hand anyway, lol! Let me just commend you for being AWESOME & BRAVE enough to scrap this & put it on here for others to see! BRAVO woman!!! {applause}
LUV your take on the week 2 sketch & on the twist! Way to think outside the scrappy box!! FABULOUS job!! : ]
this layout is wonderful but it must have been very tough for you to do - you will come to a decision in time that will give you peace I am sure. I commented on the journalling post as well - trust in yourself.
wow. this is an awesome page. i love all the thought that went into it. i dont have all the same issues you went through, but i have many. thanks for the bravery to say it.
This was one tough page to make! It was made for the next Journaling Junkie challenge, due to come out January 15. The hidden journaling details how complicated motherhood has been for me, and the next decisions I need to make on this journey. The photos touch on each of the subjects of my journaling, becoming a mother for the first time with Ethan and how it changed me, then how Cameron was the exact opposite of Ethan and his colic, and then my endometriosis, which is the biggest photo (post-op photo - I b/w'ed it so it would be less disturbing!) because it is the biggest factor in the time frame for my decisions. We didn't have to include any cards in the layout, but I thought it was fitting. The last card is turned because I don't know what it is yet. You'll also notice the KQKK cards - KQ (my husband, me) and then KK (my boys, each the opposite of the other). I haven't put this much thought into symbolism before or been intentional about embellishments like this, but this page took a lot of everything for me to complete it!
Hidden journaling is located in the folded white paper with the green bow wrapped around it. If you are interested in reading it, please see the second page that details it. :)
