This is for Critique Group 4 challenge. We were asked to create a LO featuring something musical, including the color green, with NO flowers. My older daughter was Jack and the Beanstalk's mother in a musical about nursery rhyme and fairy tale characters having bad days. Mother Goose comes along and teaches them, "When life hands you lemons...make lemonade." Hidden journaling under the top picture reads:
"What an honor! You were chosen to have a lead in the school musical as a first grader. Normaily only second graders have speaking roles. You were Jack's mother with gusto. Expressive, smiling and frowning, singing your heart out during all songs. You are a super star!"
This was one of those tough LO's for me where there is almost too much picture for a single LO, but not enough picture for a double. So here we are...less frilly than normal, but Paige loves it. Btw, the green strips? My version of a "beanstalk." :) Wendy
