Our wonderful children!

I loved the idea of "tear bear," but I am a budget scrapper. Instead of purchasing expensive templates, I drew out the bears on cardstock and cut the pieces out. Then, I tore the pieces out of scrap paper, assembled them, and added the details. The bow is ribbon from the scrap bin.

I found a neat video tutorial on here using shaving cream and paints, so I had to try it. The half-mat on the top of the right page is what came of my first attempt.

Hidden Journaling: I hear it all the time! "Your dogs are spoiled!" To which I reply, "We have dogs? Oh, you mean our kids? Yeah, they're not spoiled! They're just well loved!"

Created for June 2010 Challenges:
Pick a Quote: Quote is in the chat bubble on left page.
Doodle Challenge: Doodled the title lettering, the glitter letters, the glitter around the heart, all of the details on both bears, and (twist) the stitching around the chat bubbles.
Use Your Scraps: Everything except the photos came from the scrap bin. The background papers are the back cardboard sheets from paper pads. The bears were torn out of scrap papers. The heart stickers were leftover from Valentine's Day cards. (Twist: Use striped paper other than for a mat.)
