Week 1 of Aug. Sketch Challenge with Twist of relating to a song. I chose the song, "Oh, Happiness' by the David Crowder Band.

These are pictures of my bff Trish's 4yr. old dd, Vicki. Vicki is autistic and loves water! These pics capture her inner happiness and her charismatic smile.

The lyrics to the chorus on handwritten in the upper left hand corner of the lo. I wanted to use rickrack for sunbeams, that the pics wouldn't adhere. I used pop-dots on them and the sun. The flowers at the bottom had orange centers. I used a white paint pen to change it. Took forever to dry! I inked chipboard for title letters and hand-stitched (first time) the sun. All hand-written text is done with a gold pen.
