I was listening to a news story where they mentioned a famous Greenspan quote - "irrational exuberance" - and it suddenly to me that the phrase perfectly captured my two-year-old son's approach to life. Around the same time, I won a lot of Basic Grey tags at a crop and was trying to figure out what I was going to do with them. I started out thinking, "What the heck am I going to do with all these tags?" but eventually started thinking, "What can I do with *all* these tags? Hmmm...." I think this layout captures not only the "irrational exuberance" of my son, Adam, but embodies the spirit of the phrase in the materials and approach to the layout, itself. It was a blast to make! (And I still have a ton of tags leftover. Hmmm.....)
