Makes me want to hop on a plane and go there to that very spot! Love the soft colors. And other creative embellies. Funny story about RS. I had a similar experience while diving in Bonnaire with Christopher Reeves....about 5 months prior to his accident. It was hard NOT to watch as he struggled into that wet suit!
Totally scrumptious and I am sitting here green with envy - over your beautiful page and your vacation. Wow. You are living the life! Your layout is terrific. Love the design, textures and use of the large pic. Really enjoyed reading your story.

Yowsa Vija! This is some beautiful lo! What a dream come true to see this beautiful locale & add Rod into the mix! It's nice to have a famous stalker! I think we forget that Rod is up in his 60's now so he was probably talking loudly due to loss of hearing, lol! (That's the nurse in me!).
Gorgeous photo!! I'm officially jealous, that must have been a dream vaca. The locale is stunning and I loved your Rod story. BTW, I totally agree, they were stalking you. LOL
Absolutely lovely layout and the photo or post card one is amazing...luv the way you did your title and the flowers are gorgeous!!! So cool about seeing Rod and so happy you got to vaca at such a splindid spot!!!
I agree with Heather...you need to do hidden journaling and to include your description from here on your layout! Love the gorgeous pictures and the pink and blue papers are perfect for this!

The papers and colors all coordinate perfectly- Beautiful!! :)
Gorgeous page, such a beautiful photo(one of those pics that make me green), your layers look great and that flower is lovely. I loved reading your story and hope you have/can include that as hidden journalling. TFS!
This was one of my dream places to stay at ...and I feel very lucky to say that not only did my dream came true, reality also included Rod Stewart and his wife and son and the place was every bit as gorgeous as I had imagined. The hotel Splendido where we stayed for three nights is the building furthest to the right in the photo, near the top of the hill. Our room was right on the corner so we had a fabulous view of not only the little shipping inlet, but also of the beautiful Ligurian Sea. The woodcraft leaves and heart scroll are by Kaisercraft. The lge. blue flower, in between the Prima flowers, I made using anderjackie's easy tutorial. I'm sorry I don't remember the brand of the kraft paper, I have also used some Grants papers & vellum. P.S. Rod, whilst he was very friendly with everyone, was obviously enjoying some peaceful time there with his family and I didn't see any one pestering them for photographs, so I felt I better not either. They sat at the table directly behind us for dinner one night and I had my back to them but they were close enough for me to easily eavesdrop. Mind you Rod spoke loud enough that most of the restaurant could hear....he certainly wasn't trying to hide. I was like a giggly school girl when I heard them ordering the exact same entree and main that my husband and I had just ordered! The next morning when we went to breakfast (yes, I think they were stalking us) they were the only people in the room and Rod said good morning to us and gave us a few laughs with his antics with his young son. There was a piano in the room, but I resisted the temptation to ask him to sing Maggie May for me!
