for a circle journal i'm in. topic: what inspires you?
Journaling: This band around my finger is what inspires me. It inspires me to be faithful, to be honest, to be loving. It inspires me to be the best wife i can be, to not take this man i've been given for granted. It reminds me that there is someone i have promised to love and cherish and keep close to my heart for as long as i live. It is a circle, never ending, like my love for my husband. It has twelve diamonds embedded in it, so that every day, of every month, of every year, I let my love shine through so that my husband knows that there is no other but him. It is made of gold: precious, rare, warm, like our marriage is for me. It never leaves my finger, for he is always in my thoughts and in my heart. I know it's odd for a ring to be a source of inspiration, but his love, this marriage, is what keeps me going.
