This is a LO of the place I grew up and called home for 18 years. The top pic on the left is an aerial shot of my folks' property, about 1984. The bottom left pic is of their beautiful front yard (there is a deer standing in their driveway in the middle of the pic). The pic on the right is one of the beautiful trees in the fall. The journaling in the lower right is from the song entitled, "Flies on the Butter" by The Judds. Those lines always touch my heart when I hear the song and I truly believe it.
On the scalloped edges on the left of the page, I used Flower Soft - Autumn color. This is a really fun product to use. Doesn't stay with you for days like glitter does and is very easy to clean up from your work area. The word "Home" is from a package of chipboard alphabet. I painted each letter and then used Copper perfect pearls and some foam stamps to create the designs on each letter. The leaves mingling with the flowers are also created by using a foam stamp w/ T. Holtz walnut stain and a drk green color pencil. Thanks so much for looking!
