Attending the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show was a once in a lifetime opportunity. For three days at Los Angeles Convention Centre, I walked around the trade show floor excited and inspired. To put it simply, felt I like a kid in a really awesome candy store. In addition to seeing famous scrapbookers, like Stacy Julian, Amy Tan, and Elizabeth Kartchner, I also attended a live taping of the Paperclipping Roundtable with Noell and Izzy Hyman. I completed some incredibly cute make and takes, including a necklace by Tim Holtz; and I fell in love with some amazing companies, like Lily Bee and Hambly Screen Prints, whose products we don't have in Toronto. Attending the show, allowed me to meet, Erin, a fellow Simple Scrapper design team member, and I got to use my new iPhone 4, to tweet and blog my experience from the show floor. Really, for someone who works only a few hours a month as a design team member at my local scrapbook store, this was amazing experince. March Twenty Eleven.
