For this layout I included a list that my oldest son Gabe wrote last summer. He wanted to plant a vegetable garden, I suggested an herb garden instead - I do not have a green thumb. I asked him what we would need to start our garden and this is what he came up with: water, soil, plants and sun. I had to help a little with the spelling, but he wrote it all himself. I thought it was pretty good for a just-turned 4 year old!
