Patty, how - I can't think of the right words to say what I think of this. AWESOME, fantastic, ARTISTIC to the hilt, amazing!!! I must add your guy in the photo is so handsome. I love the license plates, the phrase "ticket to ride" on a ticket is so perfect, the car - what is that from - a sizzex or whatever - I haven't done that stuff yet. It is just an amazing l/0 - luv it. ORIGINAL - Yeah that's a good descriptive word. A favorite for sure, for sure!! Okay, I saw the star on the car cut out - a sizzix - what do you use to do that - a Cuttlebug? I have the crackle paint but haven't used it yet. I have been SOOO busy and just now saw this l/0.
OMGOSH!!!! This is so perfect Patty!! I knew you were going to work on it but seeing it completed is wonderful. I love the car and lucky Hack!!! This lo is so gorgeous. I love the little car in the upper left corner!!! PERFECT!!
This is a LO that I've been waiting forever to do, and thanks to Tim Holtz, I finally was able to get it accomplished. Techniques used are distressing, inking, machine stitching, and paper folding.
The photo is of myy DH when he was in high school. He was the photographer on the yearbook staff and this was his 1929 Model A Ford that he drove to school every day even though the year was 1968! All the girls on the yearbook staff are in the picture, but I've heard that all the teachers wanted to get a ride in Hack's car too!
