This is Abigail when she was a puppy. The pic is a little blurry, but it cracks me up. She stole my almost empty Starbucks from next to where I was sitting and took off across the yard with it. Journaling says: 9-17-07 Wanted! Suspect weighs 4 1/2 pounds & is 7 1/2 months old. Last seen wearing a ponytail and fleeing across the backyard with stolen Starbucks caramel macchiato taken from the back steps!
This was originally for the April Monochrome Challenge Week 4 Easter Grass Green, but I didn't finish it in time. The twist was to do some 'woven work.' I wove some strips of pp in the lower left, and I also wove Easter grass through the punched holes from my Threading Water punch around the edge of the die cut mat.
Now it's for the May Pet Challenge with the twist to use mist -- there is Sweet Clover GM on the cream Hero Arts flowers. Also, the handmade flowers are from a RAK I received last year from Krista that she made from dictionary pages, buttons, and mist. Thanks again, Krista :)
I punched the small green cs mat with the Martha Stewart Rings set and then distressed it. The large mat was a die cut 8x8 pp from Making Memories that I punched around the edge, then I used a large needle to sew Easter grass through the holes.
