i have been surfing around some earlier comments. I ran across this pic where you asked for help. I certainly believe that ever person has this same problem. The ones that say "no not me". They are not being honest. If that person is honest, she needs to put a clip on Face Book sharing the directions. I had to edit it with another idea. I've been on this site I believe since 2011, so I had a ton of scraps. Once I felt like I could give away some of the paper, I talked to the secretary at our church and she took all I could part with. Actual I'm thinking it is time to clean out my scraps again. Good luck to anyone that has a great idea but let us know your secret.
I really like the cropper hopper 12x12 cSes that are like magazine holders. I sort mine by color for the most part, Use the smaller ones for special stuff like Christmas, travel, birthday, it is extremely easy to expand your paper supply. I was happy And content when I switched to this system and only had one large one, now I have six!
I bought the oversize ziplock bags and sorted by colors and themes and labeled them . I then bought kids skirt hangers and hang my bags in my craft closet. This is for my loose paper. I still have a stack of paper packs.
i do the same thing as smartypants - i like to keep collections together in an oversized plastic bag to keep dust away. i organize all of my solid colors in a cropper hopper, then i have a 12x12 artbin for scraps. paper stacks are all together on the shelf. then i stack my mat pads and 6x6 papers next to that.
I too use Jetmax - I also have them in cropper hoppers too. I also keep some collections in the plastic envelopes by recollections in a crate. I keep all the companion embellies and paper together.
i organisted mine in brands and put them in the same shelf , if they are plain colour i sort them in the same colour if they are now specail brand i sort them in colour too. but hold the plain seperate from the desing one. got luck for you
One solution is to get a plastic crate and stand your paper in it. Separate different colors or themes with sheets of cardstock to which you've added labelled tabs. The cost is only a few dollars (or less if you use an old soft drink crate). This works especially well for paper stacks. Good luck!
My paper stash is over flowig and all my drawers are full does anyone know an affordable way to organise papers would be very greatful I have another 5 stacks of paper on layby and need to make room for them :)
