I'm not sure that you have Brownies in the US, but from 7-10 (and prior to moving into Guides or Scouts) girls get to go to Brownies, and for my daughter, she just couldnt wait and was so excited when she finally turned 7 and was able to go with her friends! What she most wanted to do was go to camp though, and as there were not enough leaders to take the Brownie Pack to camp, Guess Who had to join as a leader! But we did get to go to camp! Chez reminded me - all together now (in the UK anyway) 'I promise that I will do my best, to do my duty to God and the Queen, to do a good turn every day and to keep the Brownie Guide law' - gosh - I havent remembered or said that that in nearly 20 years! (#15 in 20/20 challenge)
