This is a very precious Page for me as it is of my very darling friend Coral who passed away at the age of 53 years last week after a 12 month battle with inoperable cancer..When coral was diagnosed the doctors told her that time was not on her side, so her daughter organized a day of family photo taking..this precious photo was taken last december...Coral was such a special person in the life of me and my family, a caring giving lady with a heart of gold. A big thankyou to all the wonderful friends here at sb.com who have sent me wonderful words of love and support throughtout Coral,s illness truly appreciated.I based my design on the wonderful scrapper Suepup,s sketch o3o911.

CORAL MY PRECIOUS FRIEND.
WHEN THE PHONE RANG IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT,
IT WAS THE NEWS I DREADED, YOU HAD GIVEN UP YOUR FIGHT.
I WENT OUT AND LOOKED AT THE STARS UP ABOVE,
AND WISHED I COULD GIVE YOU JUST ONE MORE HUG.
TO YOU THERE WERE SO MANY THINGS I WANTED TO SAY,
BUT SOMEHOW I GOT A LITTLE LOST ALONG THE WAY.
FOR YOU NOW MY DEAR FRIEND, NO MORE SUFFERING OR PAIN,
YOU WILL EVER HAVE TO EXPERIENCE AGAIN.
YOU BATTLED THIS ILLNESS FOR NEARLY A YEAR,
YOU NEVER SHOWED ANY ANGER REGRETS OR FEAR.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THOSE CAKES YOU MADE FOR MY BIRTHDAY EACH YEAR.
I DRANK FLUFFY DUCKS, AND YOU DRANK THE BEER.
AT WORK TOGETHER AS NURSES WE ALWAYS HAD FUN,
EVEN THOUGH WE GOT THE JOB DONE.
MY DARLING CORAL, YOUR COURAGE SHONE THROUGH TO THE END,
AND I WILL ALWAYS BE SO PROUD THAT YOU WERE MY FRIEND.
GOD SAW YOU WERE WEARY SO HE TOOK YOU TO ETERNAL REST,
OH HOW TRUE IS THE SAYING, HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
THE MEMORIES OF OUR 25 YEAR FRIENDSHIP TOGETHER,
WILL STAY DEEP IN MY HEART FOR EVER AND EVER.
TO KNOW YOU WAS TO LOVE YOU...HUGS CHEZ.
