Punch is Martha Stewart double loop, gauze from my friend Sue on rockin' scrappin' grams thread, cardstock, roses& leaves and bling is Recollections from Michaels. Brad with green center:bo Bunny Red pattern paper: Hobby Lobby the Paper Studio, glitter Love letters: Making Memories. I traced the shape from Girls Paperie Journaling: Dec. 7, 1968 Dance: Theme, "Snow on Roses"Illinois State University These photos were taken in my college dorm, 3rd floor Hewett. At that time men were only allowed in the lobby. They would have to call you on the phone to come down to meet them. The phones hung on the wall. We didn't have cell phones. So this was a special occasion that men could be on our floor. all the girls on the floor helped decorate the lounge. The dance itself, was held downstairs in Vrooman Center.
My dress was a dark green velveteen. I made it. My roommate, Mary made a red dress. Long white gloves were "in" at the time. We felt very pretty. Our boyfriends brought us a single rose.
