Thanks! Distressing is fun, huh? Kinda scary at times, worrying bout crumpling up a whole beautiful piece of 12x12 scrapbook paper for instance, but it can help take out some frustrations lol.
Revised other day's "sketch it challenge" a lot so though I'd show u all. Thought it might qualify for the pink challenge but I forgot about the part that it had to be totally new. Oh well. :) Still a few hours left to do another :) Another view, perhaps more demonstrative of its 3D appearance :) I crumpled, distressed and inked the pink background paper (that has light white hatching in it) with brown ink on edges and all over to add texture and shabby shic style antiquing to go with the fun old time photo I have of my bff in middle school and I. I distressed all the frames using sandpaper and inking as well, plus decorated them with silk and cardstock (also embellished by me with ink) plus very fancy fibers. Pink is my best friend's fave color, by the way :) I also inked the banner tags that spell "friends" as well as the tag that explains our long friendship. The whole thing is back by chipboard. I used a translucent sticker for the photo journaling. I also inked the eylets and flowers and cardstock flower. The red on this is purely to cover unnecessary background, it is not part of the 12x12 page. The friends tag is not showing on this photo but it's still included (the one at the bottom that it also inked and uses a printed cardstock tag on top of another tag I whole punched and put some of the pink figer through. This is where I used those fancy ink pens from scrapbook.com too :)
