The very serious lady in this photograph is my Grandmother. She was one of the most fashionable ladies I know. She wore a dress almost every day until she was 96, when she wore slacks. She also had sensible pumps on every day and walked at least a mile a day in them. This photo was taken shortly after my dad and grandparents immigrated to the US at the end of WWII from England. Please accept this as my entry into the fashion challenge.
