Journaling: One of our assignments in the Get Better @ Photography group was 'Religion.' The three top left shots are of three of the historic Polish Catholic churches on Chicago's West Side, which are visible from the expressway - I took these from the passenger seat going 60mph down the Kennedy. Clockwise from top left: St. Mary of the Angels, St. Stanislaus Kostka, and Holy Trinity. 9-27 I took the others at Marytown in Libertyville. The two bottom left are of the exterior of the chapel. On the opposite page, there are three photos of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, including a close-up of her rosary. The remaining shots are: a Franciscan Friar strolling the grounds, a statue of Joseph, and a bas-relief along the Rosary Walk depicting the fifth of the Sorrowful Mysteries - the Crucifixion. 9-30
