Awwww Lynne...what a beautiful photo :) Such a pity you don't know the boy and his dog :) Love how you scrapped it..love the sepia tones and everything on this layout compliments that lovely photo :) Love it!!x
love your paint splatter and thats so cool about the photos including pets.. its true now thatI think about it. I don't see many pets in the photos. You've got a treasure! love it into my faves!
Wonderful heritage page, Lynne - such a delight to see this vintage page amidst all the fluffy, girly, lacy Valentines - love how you minimized your design to emphasize the wonderful photo - I'm wondering what the "new Kaisercraft Base Coat paper" is - is it that lovely wood grain background paper you've used that perhaps hasn't hit the open market in the States?
Love the sweet photo and I love too to see the animals they used to own...such a pity thay didn't write on the back of their photo's!! Love how you have scrapped this with these pp's...have just picked them up myself!!
Yes, I love that about pics I have of my ancestors...Both sides of my family are animal lovers!! Love how you have carried through with the sepia tones!! Such a sweet lo!!
too bad you don't the know the identity of the boy or the story behind the photo. BUT what a WONDERFUL heritage lo Lynne. Love the sepia tones and all the distressing.
Heartwarming! I like the fence paper background and the way you kept the sepia tones throughout the layout to harmonize with the photo. Although you don't know the name of this ancestor of yours, it's cool that he'll always be remembered this way.
Love this photo of an unnamed young ancestor with his furry friend; it warms my heart tosee how many of my heritage photos include pets! Used the fabulous new Kaisercraft Base Coat oaper for this, along with a bunch of distressing and paint spattering-TFL!
