Capture all the joys of Easter in your own special way. This decoration offers ample embellishing opportunities with a celebration of bright spring colors. For instant inspiration, just follow the easy instructions below.
Apply adhesive (from Sizzix Adhesive Sheets or Xyron) to one side of three different colors of cardstock. Die-cut three of each size egg shown above out of the same color cardstock (i.e., smaller eggs from pink, mid-size eggs from teal and larger eggs from yellow). Stamp grass along the bottoms of all of the two smaller sized eggs. Die-cut windows in the larger eggs. Stamp eggs, the phrase "Happy Easter!" and two chicks onto white cardstock. Align the corresponding Framelits dies over the stamped images and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using a sticky note to hold the Framelits dies in place while shapes are being cut. Attach the shapes to the eggs. Fold the eggs in half lengthwise. Starting with the largest egg, peel off the backing paper, suspend the chicks in the opening using monofilament thread and sandwich a length of twine between the sides. Continue to peel off the backing paper of the other eggs and sandwich the sides that are the same size while adhering to the twine. We tied twine bows below each egg after the fact for added interest.
