This totally turned out so gorgeous! Your mixing of different medias always amaze me! One would think you were a mad scientist trying to create the perfect blend when you describe how you try to get the perfect color! LOL! Its just a wonderful page and one that so soft and gentle especially for a wedding page. A fave indeed!
Well all that aggravation certainly turned into a beauty of a page! I love the colors and the photo on the corrugated board looks yummy! You never cease to amaze me with all the background detail. I always have to zoom it up and have a good gander at it!!
Boy oh boy - you make a pain in the neck project look flawless - it's a stuner and has a dreamlike quality of beauty to it. LOVE the carbboard - Kitty Fav
Well, this may have been a pain in your neck to create, but it is sure eye candy to me. :) The softness is so appealing and the bling is incredible. You know just the right amount to use to bring out the page's beauty!
Truely a work of ART! I can't believe anything on here began as a mistake! Although, it does make me feel better to know that some one that creates LO of this calibur just about blows it up like I do from time to time! I love what youdow with all of the embossing, the paper behind the photo is drop dead gorgeous.
Beautiful texture - great use of embells - pretty bling. You have a unique style of moulding the paper to create something beautiful. Your hard work paid off.
this came out gorgeous, Melissa! Glad all that pain in the neck paid off so beautifully-love the bg and the textures you've added, and the soft photo is so pretty!
Reading your desription reminds me of the one I am doing at present...lol. Your efforts with persevering have paid off, because this is really beautiful!! I love the textures and colours!!
This came out really pretty. One of these days I am going to try something like this. But trust me, I barely know what gesso is and my work space is my kitchen table so..not any time soon as there would be such a mess. I color outside the lines. LOL I love looking at this type of work and appreciate the outcome. Wonderfully done!!
Wow, this really came out beautifully! I love the gel mixture, and I like how the cardboard came out. It goes well with the page. Totally magical LO for that wonderful picture of you and your hubby!

My Dh and I. Well, i dont know how to express what a pain in the neck this was at times. I put the cardboard thing on behind the photo and it was kind of downhill from there! The cardboard looked great till i put on some pink mica powder and , the color was awful. Gosh i was upset with it cuz i really really liked the verdigris green embossing powder, copper and gold, with lots of the original cardboard showing through. I brushed some pink off and put lumiere paints on , more powders and continued in that vein of thought. I need something here, but what? Nice flowers i thought, but mine are limited and making them is too hard for me, i dont have the patience. I really like metal embellies , fussy cutting, bling. The ppr is something i love here, and wanted to bring out the gorgeous butterfly. the bg on the left is gel medium, embossing pwdr in gold , verdigris , copper, silver glitter, all mixed up then spread on the page. After it dried i put diff. colors of lumiere on with my hands , in small amounts, to bring out the textures. Then rock candy on top. The black vertical lines on the left are peacock feathers. I used several items of jewelry my sis gave me.The green cameo, a gold chain on the left edge there. A big cats eye at the middle left. Theres some pale clear light yellow beads that might be citrine. I used some molding paste on the bottom, using a jolees wedding sticker as a stencil. The fern leaf by the cameo is baked sculpy clay , i used a ms mold thingy. In the upper right is also a labrodorite, from my beading days. In the lower right under the title is a broken earring, its peridot and moonstone. I used to wear them a lot till one broke. Earlier i said cats eye but its tiger eye, the bead by the lower dove on the left edge. I cut it off a necklace of them that my sis gave me to use in projects.
