my 1st try @ an Altered cigar box

My first try at this and it is harder than it looks!! I pulled off as much paper as I could and painted everything with white Gesso. Then covered it with some of my fav. MME papers - Lost and Found 2.
I fussy-cut a second rose and pop-dotted it on top of the first, but you can't see that very well*sigh - photo's are bad.
I tried adding embelie's to the top - but it looked crowded & sorta dumb:j - so I left it plain. There is a nail in the top that fits into the box edge - so I added a ribbon "pull" to make it easier to open the box top~ I may fill this with sewing essentials and gift it to a new bride~
