It’s elegantly exquisite - and it can be yours. Create a beautiful medallion like this with the help of the Sizzix Favorite Things collection by Brenda Walton.
Create a crepe paper rosette by cutting a strip of crepe paper, accordion fold, gather center and wrap with pipe cleaner. Pull the edges of the crepe paper above the pipe cleaner apart to reveal the ridges and creases of the accordion fold (these will create the petals of your flower). Adhere edges together to form a rosette. If desired, cut the ends of the petals with scissors to round them. Die-cut swirls from the Bird Scroll die out of patterned paper and adhere to the rosette. Add gold leaves. Die-cut Flights of Fancy butterflies out of patterned paper, bend wings upward to give dimension and adhere. Tie a ribbon bow and attach to the butterfly. Die-cut flowers out of patterned paper and newsprint using the Summer Florals die. Bend petals upward to give dimension, embellish with a pearl and attach.
