Laurie, This is such an adorable page. You tell stories so well. LOL I love all the layers & papers, I love the title where you threaded the ribbon through t he eyelets.I agree..you look wonderful
First of all, I think you look very pretty! Your dress is lovely and so are you!!! Secondly, all of us have tripped every now and then! (like Jennifer Lawrence at the Academy Awards!!!) Thirdly, I love, LOVE this page - you scrapped the photo beautifully! Fourthly, I absolutely love that you shared your wonderful story and page with us! Thank you so much! Happy Mother's Day!!!!!
You are beautiful, great photo! I love the story and am anxious to hear the rest of it! Love the ribbon running through the title and the punch work is very pretty!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh Laurie!!!!! You look simply mar-vel-ous Dahling!!!! Preatty as a picture! And you're a Grandmother??? You look so young! I know what you mean about shoes.... looking forward to hearing the rest of the story! Beautiful lo! Your dgd will be happy to have at least 1 page of you!
you look wonderful, Laurie-I'm usually the same way about pics of myself though; last time we went on a family vacation, DD finally made me get in a photo because no one would have even known I was on the trip with them otherwise! Love the way you threaded the ribbon through the eyelets for the title...did anyone get a picture of a certain person sliping on petals by any chance? wink wink
You look beautiful...funny about the rose petals...the blues in the lo really pick up the color in your dress and it just pops right off the page...lovely!!!
Love the back story Laurie! You look so beautiful! Nothing simple about this lo! Love your punchwork & the ribbon through the banners & all your beautiful details! Well done!
Wonderful layout, Laurie!! You are so pretty!! I dont remember if I have ever seen a pic of you... Sounds like I would love to hear the rest of that story!! LOL!! It cant be any worse than walking across the lobby of a busy bank with your dress caught up in your pantyhose!!! heehee
LOL!!! LOL!!! GREAT lo. Love the title work and your lighthearted journaling. The ribbon, punchwork, fussy cutting, and stickers all came together to create one WONDERFUL lo. I know A&E will treasure this album!!
OK, it's taken me weeks to decide to post this one because it's of me in all my glory....NOT! LOL I rarely like photos of myself and I'm usually the one behind the camera. I added this lo to my dgd's album because, once again, there is a story and I also thought it would be strange if there were no photos of me in her album! Journaling reads, "Lesson #1 - Never wear new, open-toed, backless shoes when attempting to walk down an aisle of rose petals! As beautiful as those petals were, they quickly made their way into the toes of my shoes. The petals mixed with the fact that I wasn't used to wearing that kind of shoe really made for an interesting "trip" down the aisle. I'm so thankful Mike was there to hold me up!" There's more to this story, but I'm going to just keep you guessing! :o) Fortunately, I can laugh at myself! The colors on the actual photo itself turned out crazy! I was actually wearing a purple dress and the photo makes it look blue! YIKES! Just a clean and simple lo. Thanks so much for taking your time to stop by. I always appreciate your visits! :o)
