These aren't great pics, but somehow, they are my only 'swimming in the lake' pics from 2010, so I used them. Cassie and my dad are swimming buddies.
This is my example for my June Four Categories Challenge - Category Four ~ Theme: Summer. The twist is to have a sun somewhere on the page - I have two.
This is for: 1) June Monthly Sketch Challenge Week 1 with the 'Summer' twist.
2) June Stamping Challenge - I stamped the light blue wavy border and the date circle on the large sun. I also stamped and heat embossed the small sun near the bottom, which fulfills the twist to use a stamp from the list we were given (sun, flip flops, beach ball, etc.)
3) VLB Challenge to use paint. I painted the grungeboard arrow with Aqua paint, applied crackle medium, and top coated it with yellow, but it didn't crackle. Actually, I think all my Ranger Adirondack acrylic paints need to be thrown out - the packaging allows them to dry up too fast and adding water just makes them lumpy. Anyway, I ended up using Crackle Accents on it as well.
Other Products: Paper: Flair Designs Hit the Beach Collection Cricut Cart: Going Places (sun) Stamps: Hero Arts; Paper Studio Rub-on Alpha: Doodlebug Designs Ink: Colorbox French Blue Crackle medium: Folk Arts Embossing powder: Stampendous yellow cs; black cs
