I decided to take a break from my New Orleans album. I still have a few more pages I want to do, but decided to move on for now.

For our 13th Wedding Anniversary, we decided to drive to Fredericksburg, TX and Luckenbach, TX for a weekend getaway. Also known as The Texas Hill Country. Fredericksburg is an old German town. Lots of German influence and great German food. Also, that area has become the place for Texas wines. There are hundreds of vineyards and of course the opportunity for wine tastings.

We found a Holiday Inn Express that had been recently refurbished with a fabulous pool. Reminded us of places we have stayed in Mexico and the Caribbean.

This layout is a few pictures I took of the town. They have a Main Street with dozens of shops. Great way to spend and afternoon browsing and then go hit the pool at the hotel since it's so hot in July. TFL
