I used the Silhouette feather cut files to cut the same feather in three different sizes. I knew I wanted to use watercolors to dress them up, so I cut them out in watercolor paper so that they would take the watercolors better. Then I used a waterbrush and some watercolor paints to paint each feather a different color. Once they were dry, I stapled them together at the stems and tucked them underneath my photo. I added some of the gold glitter candy buttons (my new fave!) to embellish the center of each feather and I love the detail it added.
