Great way to frame the pic wqith the circles! I really like how you stitched around the circles and added the brads. Gives the circles a nice finishing touch.
the concept ot design is great the circle theme is unify anf phot outstanding but instead of actual thread stitching I would use the rubon stiches which would stand out more and be exact-lower right hand circke stiching is off????? great over all ol look
Dawn I love that you put the pic on those big circles. I think this lo is awesome and you should submit to the basic grey gallery, Just give it a try girl.
Like how you used the circles and stitching! Your dh looks almost as happy as mine was when we visited Silver Dollar City! NOT his favorite place -- too many people for his taste!
The stitching is a small touch that adds a spark against the black background. I agree that it would be better to mute the color of the ric-rac to make it compatible with the intensity of the colors in the circles. The pp you used to make the circles accentuates the casual look of the photo. The edges of your circles also accentuate the curves of the furniture you are sitting in.
Some of the circles have lines in them. I wonder if you could make those lines in circles parallel to the floor boards? Your daugter did a good job taking that photo.
Fabulous design Dawn I love this cool take on the challenge, the photo is soooo cute and I adore the way you have used the circles to frame the photo, TFS :)
I love the circles background! Such a sweet page! The red ricrac does look a bit bright but it may be the scan, otherwise, inking will do the trick. Love the fun colors too!
I like the black background. It really makes the brads pop. The red rick rack seems to be a different shade than the other colors in the pic. Perhaps this is the scan? If not, I would consider distressing this rick rack to mute it, or maybe replacing it with a slightly different shade. Great stitching, as always. I haven't dared to try the circle stitching yet! You are so brave! :)
This is a pic my dd took at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO of me and my hubby.
This is for the Circle Challenge hosted by Pammy aka Pam. And my JUNE AGC hosted by NewMommy2scrap aka Ally!! Thanks to both these ladies for totally awesome challenges!! Thanks for looking and have a nice day!! ~*~Dawn~*~
