I LOVE THANKSGIVING DINNER! Its all my favorite never foods! Pictured is of course the turkey, which my husband has had the pleasure of cooking for the last 3 years...He does a great job. Honestly he makes the best Turkey day Turkey I have ever had my whole life. I do think a big part of it is the Maple- Bourbon Brine we do the night before (my idea). Then is the roasted re pepper smoked gouda green been casserole...yes its amazing. This year my SIL added bacon wrapped Brussels sprouts and my other SIL added a small ham. We also had checkerboard sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and two kinds of stuffing. My In-laws like oyster stuffing (which is always a little too soupy for me) and I made my apple zucchini cornbread stuffing, which I slightly edited from Rachel Ray's Pumpkin Muffin' Stuffin'. Haha

So with all that wonderful food you would think the kids (my niece and nephew) would have been in heaven...no such luck. I have to admit picky eaters really get under my skin. Luckily my DD ate almost as much as I did that day of EVERYTHING...and she was only a year old at the time. That girl can eat...she got it from her momma.
