Journaling:
Max has really surprised me since Luke’s birth seven weeks ago. Before Luke came along, Max never expressed any interest in babies, but he is positively in love with his youngest brother. He nicknamed him “Goo”, as in “goo-goo, ga-ga”, and refers to him exclusively by that name now. Max loves showing off Luke to his classmates at school and is always so excited to come home to him. He also helps take care of him—he is always willing to get Goo’s pacifier for him and has gotten brave enough to start holding him on his own now that Luke’s neck is getting stronger. He and Sam even fight over who gets to sit next to Goo every single time we get in the car now (sigh).
While I was out running errands last week, I called home to ask George a question and Max answered, asking me to “put Goo on the phone so I can say hi to him”. So cute! I hope these two always have a special relationship.
