This is for the July colour challenge – green and brown.

MY ds Jack eating fairy bread for the first time – for our US friends, fairy bread is bread spread with margarine, then dipped in “hundreds and thousands” – similar to sprinkles, but they are round. Fairy bread is always served at every good Aussie kid’s birthday party!

Hidden journaling reads:

You first tried fairy bread at Paige’s 2nd birthday party…as soon as you saw it, even before tasting it, you said “Mmmmm, mmmmm”, and then promptly stuffed at least 4 pieces into your mouth as quickly as possible! You were a bit unsure of the texture, and didn’t like the mess it made on your face, but it certainly didn’t stop you! Feb. 2006.

Products used:

Bazzill cardstock
KI Memories “My Guy” patterned paper
Heidi Swapp chipboard frames
Heidi Swapp raw chipboard letters (“fairy” – painted and dimensional magic)
MM gameboard alphabet (“BREAD” – covered in paper and dimensional magic)
Various ribbons
Flowers courtesy of Stephanie (steph_t) from the Aussie flower swap – thanks! :)

Thanks for looking!

P.S. Scraplifted from Aust. magazine Scrapbooking Memories – vol. 7, no. 11 – layout “Climb” by Fiona Leehane.
