I made this for How Much Is Too Much? [hmitm.blogspot.com]. Cindy challenged us to use a series of school-related items on our layout, including a real pencil (see the link for a full list of what we had to use). As a teacher, I have 20 years of yearly school pictures, and I had wanted to use my favorite pictures, but alas, all I could find were these 3 ugly pictures, so that's where I focused my hidden journaling, which reads: 20 years of school photos.20 years of cringing when I open the envelope and see those photos.20 years of students that see this image of a fat me in their yearbooks.I no longer want to cringe when I open those envelopes.I no longer want to be memorialized as the fat teacher in the yearbooks.I'm hoping this year I will smile with pride when I open my envelope!Goodbye to those 20 years.(Side note: I've lost 55 pounds in the last year and a half.)Materials: Cardstock: Jillibean Soup, Core'dinations; Patterned Paper: Collage Press, Making Memories, My Mind's Eye; Letter Stickers: Pink Paislee; Journaling Card: Jillibean Soup; Label Stickers: BasicGrey; Phrase Stickers: 7 Gypsies; Tab: BasicGrey; Rub-ons: BasicGrey; Canvas Flowers: Jillibean Soup; Stick Pin: Tim Holtz; Tape: Pink Paislee; Buttons: BasicGrey; Lace: Maya Road; Border Sticker: BasicGrey; Ink: ColorBox; Dimensional Paint: Ranger; Punch: Martha Stewart; Other: Staples, baker's twine, pencil.
