One of the hardest things about the end of the school year is that it seems that all the kids have projects that are due at the same time. We really have to rush to get them all done. Izzy had an “Invention Convention” project, where she had to come up with an invention that involved two simple machines and served some purpose. She and her dad designed a light switch circuit so that she could turn off the light from her bed. Since we couldn't rig up her real room, we had to recreate it using a “room” they built for a Barbie doll that demonstrated the idea. Elijah and Tony had to do dioramas. Everything turned out so neat, but dang…I was so glad when it all was done…:PI used the Grunge Masks kit by Jen Martakis; I also used a lot of papers and elements from her Back to School kit, and grabbed the orange buttons from her Emma kit. Font is my own handwriting; stitching by Jessica Sprague; charcoal brush by Nancie Rowe Janitz.
