I'm the kind of mom who runs at the first sound of crying into her daughter's arms. My oldest girl is 3 and my baby will be 1 next month, and needless to say, the hours spent in my husband's arms I can count on my fingers. Hours spent sleeping in the same bad: also countable in one pass of the finger spread!My birthday falls on New Year's Eve, and, having a tendancy to make my dreams come true, he took me for a night of dancing (and drinking) at the casino, about two hours from home, all but ensuring an entire night out! This gave us a chance to connect as people instead of just as parents, and I relish the memories of our fun together.
