Here's my card for Marshia's latest color challenge. I messed up at first, but caught my mistake before I finsihed uploading! The second card shows an acetate overlay for the inside of the card. For her challenge, she requires stamping on the inside opening. So, I removed the overlay( I had it secured inside with washi tape so it didnt mess up the paper) and stamped some leaves and a sentiment(inkadinkado) onto the background. I just included the 2nd image because I liked the look of the acetate too!For my card I cut a piece of white card stock to make an A2 sized card. I blended dusty concord and spiced marmalade distress inks onto my cs with blending foam. I then stamped over the cs with a background stamp(french script) in spiced marmalade. I cut the opening with my cricut(the shape is from the storybook cartridge, it kind of resembles the top note die from stampin' up). I folded the cs into the card shape and stamped my trees(Hero Arts) with burgandy pigment ink from Studio G. I adhered 2 buttons on the bottom of the card. The tree stamps, the buttons, and the overlay in the second image is from Marshia who was my secret santa! I loved working with these colors and plan to make some more cards like this in the future. Thanks again Marshia :)
