You know how sometimes you create a layout at night, and when you look at it in the morning, you're not sure it works? This is such a layout. But I'm too lazy to go back and rework it! I did this for the Color Combos Galore color challenge. It seems I use a lot of red when I do these challenges! I did a lot of photography in college, and it seems I liked the same types of things then that I do now- old, rustic buildings, architectural detail, interesting faces. Working in black and white then, though, gave me a different perspective, as I was always looking for texture, contrast and composition. I've been spending a lot of time lately scanning old negatives. These photos were taken in the early spring of 1975 in Provo & Logan Utah.SA Cinta and American Typewriter fonts.
