In addition to scrapbooking I am an avid reader. Not only do I have a Kindle, but I have 3 library cards. Fortunately for me I get to read at work, but cannot bring in my Kindle so therefore the library books are necessary. So I decided to make a bookmark for them. I have the most difficult time scrapping flat. I really like to add bulk with flowers and embellishments, but that is just not going to work for this project.
I used one of my most favorite quotes by Joseph Campbell. "You must give up the life you planned in order to have the life that is waiting for you". I thought it seemed fitting as we are currently making a transition in our lives. DH has been retired for years and now I'm ready to semi-retire. We are in the process of moving to the Panhandle of Florida and I'm seriously considering getting out of Nursing and finding a new avenue to pursue.
I used Pion Designs My Beloved Son papers and notecards.
