Great pics and journaling! Great use of the song lyrics too. I love the bike embellies and column of pp's on the right page - really cool masculine 2 pager!

This is a LO of my youngest son's Bike Building School Album. He fell in love with bikes in 2008. But, he always wanted to build one from scratch. The opportunity came for him to go to Colorado and be taught by MASTER frame builder Kochi Yamaguchi. He had a experience of a lifetime... two people in the class, 2 week course, living out of a hotel, all types of weather (including snow!), learning how to build a bike frame with basic tools, hearing stories and invaluable information from Kochi, & leaving with a one-of-a-kind bike frame!!
Journaling reads: When Stephen left on his bike ride on Sunday morning, it was only 36*. It had snowed the day before and looked like another storm was coming in. It was his only day off. So, he put plastic bags under his shoes to keep his feet “dry & warmer”. After about 15 miles, he decided to go on a dirt path and immediately acquired so much mud on his tires that it stopped him dead. All he could do was laugh! On his way back, he saw Kochi and Barbara in their car and he waved. The next day, Stephen asked if they saw him? Kochi said “We knew it was you. There are only a few “crazy” cyclist in the area, and even they wouldn’t ride in that temperature!”
